Threads Now Lets Users Add Multiple Links in Their Bio

Meta’s Threads app just added multiple bio links, making it easier for users to promote websites, stores, and content—all without leaving the platform.

Threads just made a big update: users can now add up to five links in their profile bio. Before this, you could only add one, which meant many people had to use services like Linktree to share multiple links. Now, you can put all your important links—like a portfolio, YouTube channel, shop, or blog—right at the top of your Threads page.

When Meta launched Threads, it was one of several new apps aiming to replace Twitter (now called X) after Elon Musk took over. Many users left X and ended up on Threads or Bluesky. While these newer platforms felt more in line with what some users wanted, they didn’t have all the features people were used to on X. That’s normal for any new app—it takes time to build up.

Even so, Threads has grown quickly, with around 350 million monthly users. Being connected to Meta’s other platforms like Facebook and Instagram definitely helped. Creating an account and jumping between the apps is super easy.

This new bio link feature makes it simpler for creators and businesses to share content directly, without needing a third-party workaround. It also gives Threads more control and helps them track link clicks—useful data for creators.

That said, Threads still limits bios to five links for now. So if someone needs more than that, tools like Linktree or Beacons will still come in handy.
