Introducing Moments, a recently launched iOS app that functions as a Personal Relationship Manager (PRM) designed to assist individuals in nurturing their personal and professional connections. Moments offers a range of features, including guidance, reminders, to-do lists, and an AI composer capable of crafting personalized messages and emails tailored to your contacts.

While the concept of a personal relationship manager is not new, Moments aims to provide a comprehensive solution. The app addresses the challenge of maintaining meaningful connections, which has become increasingly difficult in the age of social media, where passive scrolling can create an illusion of staying in touch without direct communication.

Moments was inspired by this need for more meaningful connection. The app’s developer, Robert Keus, previously launched Scheduled, an app that allowed iOS users to schedule iMessage texts for later delivery, born out of the frustration of forgetting to wish a friend “happy birthday.” Moments expands on this idea by offering a broader set of tools.

Using Moments is simple. You start by adding the names of people you want to stay connected with, categorizing them into groups such as family, work, and friends, and ranking their importance. The app then generates reminders to reach out to them, creating a social to-do list. You can customize the frequency of these reminders, which arrive as push notifications.

When a reminder appears, you can take action by drafting a message using your preferred chat apps, making a call, or snoozing/dismissing the reminder. If you struggle with what to say, the app’s AI helper can assist you in composing personalized messages and emails that align with each contact’s interests.

Moments goes beyond being a utility app; it offers tools to improve users’ social skills through “Learn To-Dos.” These are prompts and suggestions designed to enhance networking abilities. For instance, the app might recommend offering compliments or seeking advice, with courses explaining the impact of these actions on relationships.

Additionally, Moments allows you to add notes for each contact and set up special events, similar to a professional CRM system. It can even sync contacts from Hubspot CRM.

Moments offers a freemium model, allowing free access for up to 20 contacts, including access to learning courses. For more than 20 contacts, the app offers a subscription plan at $3.99 per month, with reduced rates for 6- or 12-month subscriptions.

Developed by a team at Keus’ agency, Brthrs Agency, along with one external developer, the app is self-funded. Notably, all developers working on the app were women.

Moments is currently available exclusively on iOS, with plans for an Android release in the first quarter of 2023.
